And then there were two

Back in August, I had mentioned some big things coming my way. Naturally, now that we’re in December, many of those have come to pass. One in particular needs to be shared, not just because you’ll appreciate this/I’m clearly obsessed, but also because it will help you to better understand my less-than-spectacular post regularity.

She’s also my new best buddy. “Tollers” are both the smallest and smartest of the retrievers, growing to between 40 and 50 lbs. They love the water, playing fetch, having a job to do, and being around people.

Because she’s a baby, Teagan spends a lot of time napping, eating, and teething. She’s extremely mellow, very sweet and arguably most important, she loves hiking. Lastly, for those of you who haven’t noticed, she just might be the cutest puppy alive.

Quote of the day:

“I know better than to believe that the changes are over, and I know better than to believe the next ones will be easier, but I’ve learned the hard way that change is one of God’s greatest gifts and one of his most useful tools. Ive learned the hard way that change can push us, pull us, rebuke and remake us. It can show us who we’ve become, in the worst ways, and also in the best ways. I’ve learned that it is not something to run away from, as though we could, and I’ve learned that in many cases, change is not a function of life’s cruelty but instead a function of God’s graciousness.”   -Shauna Niequist “Bittersweet”
